It is decided to hold the congress in Cambay resort at Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat state adjoining the major city Ahmedabad.
Arrangements are being made to avail discounted rates for the comfortable stay of delegates, either at the Congress venue or nearby hotels. Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad has all kind of hotels ranging from budget to star facility. Guest house accommodation will be available on payment and on first–cum-first served basis depending upon the availability. The period from October to December being the peak tourist/ festival season at Gandhinagar, the accommodation during this period is scarce and costly. The accommodation has to be booked well in advance, as the last minute availability is not guaranteed. Block booking at negotiated rates is being arranged. From Ahmedabad Railway station, hire an auto rikshaw and reach State Transport Bus Staion (Say ST Bus Stand), it is about 2 Km. from Railway station. ST Bus and AMTS (Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service) Bus is also available from Railway station to reach ST Bus Stand. From ST Bus stand lot of buses are available to reach Gandhinagar ST Bus Stand. Gandhinagar ST Bus stand is next to Pathikashram. From ST Bus station, you can reach Town Hall by auto rikshaw, which is located at Sector 17, and it is very near to ST Bus station. Volunteers will be available for your help, on Ahmedabad Railway Station at Central Exit of Platform No. 1 . |

Weather/ clothing
Gandhinagar weather during the month of November will generally be very pleasant. Normal cotton clothes are suggested for the day and light woolen clothes for the evenings.
Language
The official language of the Congress is English. The spoken language in Gandhinagar is either Gujarati or Hindi, or English to a limited extent.
